With the holiday season quickly approaching, it’s time to start making your list and checking it twice! I absolutely love shopping locally for as many gifts as I can each year. It allows me to combine two of my favorite things: Cleveland and my loved ones! Not sure where to start?
Here’s where you can snag some local gifts for each member of your family:
As soon as I saw Cleveland Whiskey for the first time, I knew it would make the perfect gift. If your dad or husband is into whiskey, pair a bottle with some cool glasses or bar tools.
I think men are one of the hardest people to buy for. They always seem to have everything! That’s why I love getting experiences instead of tangible gifts. Things like tickets to Hilarities on East 4th or tickets to one of Cleveland’s professional sporting events work great. Pair with a gift card to one of the hundreds of fabulous local restaurants for a fun night out!

The Cleveland Flea, the coolest flea market in Cleveland (and beyond!), puts on Holiday Markets in the winter months. Chock full of locally made jewelry, home décor, greeting cards and more, the Holiday Market is the perfect place to find a unique and very “Cleveland-y” gift.
Does your sister always ask for clothes, shoes and accessories (like mine!)? Take advantage of all of the great boutiques Cleveland has to offer! I find the most unique things at Wandering Wardrobe, Banyan Tree and Yellowcake Shop.
If your brothers are anything like mine, they are all about Cleveland sports. I find myself turning to the many awesome t-shirt and apparel companies around the city year after year. They have great options, especially around the holidays. Plus, I always end up leaving with some Cleveland swag for myself! Some of my favorites are CLE Clothing Co, Fresh Brewed Tees and GV Artwork.
It’s as easy as that! You can spend a whole day exploring Cleveland and shopping for all of your favorite people. Happy Holidays!
